A Forever Home Campaign

From Cleveland Jewish News:

Twinsburg Chabad recently announced the kickoff of its fundraising campaign, “A Forever Home” to raise $100,000 to secure a new property which is vital for accommodating the growing needs of the community, Rabbi Mendy Greenberg said in a news release.

Founded in 2017, Twinsburg Chabad provides Hebrew education, Shabbat services, adult classes and community celebrations for Jews in Twinsburg and surrounding areas.

“Our current facility, established just two years ago, quickly filled with an expanding Hebrew school, Shabbat services, adult education classes and community celebrations,” Greenberg said in the release.

A prime property has emerged on the market, perfectly situated for the community’s future growth and thanks to a generous local donor, the majority of expenses have been covered, but the final $100,000 is crucial to finalize the property acquisition, he said.

In the 36-hour campaign, running from noon on Nov. 26 to midnight on Nov. 27, every dollar contributed will be matched, effectively doubling the impact of each donation.

“The tragic events in Israel have only deepened the need for strong Jewish roots and a sense of belonging for Jews everywhere,” Greenberg said. “The need for a permanent Jewish center in our area has become more relevant than ever before.”
